Subject: FIRST TIME

This was my first Dead show and went on to see them ~40 times. I will never forget the energy that this show had. First set rocks, while the 2nd set meanders through the wonderful energy of Scarlet/Fire and The other One. I will never forget this experience in a hockey arena that was general admission. So cool to hear a great recording of a great show that was the beginning of a long strange trip!

Subject: A bit "off", are you crazy?

This is one of my favorite shows. The entire thing is smoking from start to finish.

Starts with a strong jack straw. Next is dire wolf. By far one of the best dire wolf ever. The Jed and Music never stopped are also stand out versions.

Seconds set starts smoking right away with scarlet/fire, really good fire. One of my favorites.
Estimated/Hes Gone very good as well. Black peter is where this show goes from great to amazing. This is the best Black Peter ever, so much emotion and soul is poured into the mid solo and outro. Simply amazing.

First set is quite good. Second set becomes a bit monolithic and draggy.

Subject: Gym Floor

Upon further review, the band seems a bit "off" this night. But, hey, that's one of the things I liked about them.
